Half and half
Some of it is on point funny. Some of it a little slow and weak. Deats' work is stunning.

I think it's great!
I really got a kick out of this. I think you could have delivered better on the "normal" guy shooting himself, but aside from that - the dialog, voice acting, drawings, animation, and even the music was on point. Funny indeed!
strange, nonsensical, and interesting
I enjoyed it very much. I think this style would be greatly improved simply by creating more scope. According to Author Comments, it is suppose to be a little world - but it all seems to take place in the confines of the stage. It's cute but when you pull back, you should need to pull waaay back - imo
Very excellent !
Super cool characters, tight animation, a very groovy track, and a compelling action sequence - What more does anybody need?
The only drawbacks for me are:
01- Despite watching it several times, I really don't understand the specifics regarding the ultimate demise of the nemesis. I figure the bots just located the main power-source and set off a chain reaction - but this is only based my understanding of cliches in the genre and not the exposition of the piece.
02- I'd really like to see you work harder on some of the explosions. They are a bit to cartoony and don't have enough weight/balance. They're more like poofs than explosions.
Other than that I really love it!
Wonderful
This stuff is awesome. The characters are totally engaging. The art is fun and stylish. I feel that some of the animation could use more traditional easing in and out, but many of the action scenes are timed very well. The music is awesome. I'll have to visit Bitey Castle and find out more...
Yes, this is cool as hell
Totally wacky, a tight groove, and super cool animation. What more can one ask for?
someone could ask for a review like yours, and get it :)
Super WTF on point
Wow! I'll tell you this - I don't really even like that bug, but the fact that he has replaced this guys tongue is hilarious.
Animation seems merely adequate but does not detract from the experience, so I guess it's just right.
"I'm goin' back to fish."
I think it's funny
Hits: I like the quirky, naive style. The animation is not pro but interesting to me. While I agree with others that this is a familiar theme, I found it very funny and charming. Almost seemed like a satire of the lonely loser theme.
Misses: I was far more interested in his real life than his origami day dream. I agree that the ending felt rushed.
I enjoyed meeting this character and feeling his pain but in the end I couldn't really understand his motivation.
This is a tricky thing to fix, but my honest opinion is that you should rethink his whole motivation and what his goal is. I get it, but I'm not FEELING it. Hope this helps - if not for this, maybe the next one.
Now I think I get what you're saying... BUT I probably don't have it in me to try and rework such a major aspect of this animation.
I will definitely keep those ideas in mind for the next one.
Aha I think it's kinda good in a way... in a way... that you like his real life more just 'cause well, that's what most of the story is. The dream is but a small part...
I said this in a previous response but I think the.. lack of understanding his motivation comes from HOW I ended up developing the end. I had trouble thinking of how to get the character to arrive at the decision he made.
Thanks for the review
